End of the Year!

We had a wonderful year together in kindergarten! The students have all grown and learned so much- they are certainly ready for 1st grade in the fall!

Here are our end of the year videos showing all the fun we had together in kindergarten!

Farm Field Trip!

We had a wonderful field trip to Suson Park this week! We had fun visiting the barns to see all of the animals. We also enjoyed our snack under the lakeside pavilion and played on Suson's huge playground! It was a great day!

Science Center Field Trip

We had a fantastic field trip to the Science Center! Students enjoyed playing with all of the hands-on science materials in the Discovery Room. We also had time to visit several of the exhibits. The dinosaur exhibit was a big hit, with students getting to look at real fossils in the fossil room, and then getting to dig for pretend fossils in the play area. Although the science displays were pretty neat, many students reported that their favorite part of the field trip was eating lunch with their friends! It sure was a fun and busy day!

A.M. Class Explores Pumpkins!

We had so much fun this week exploring pumpkins! We estimated and measured how tall our pumpkins were. We counted the lines on our pumpkins. We even counted ALL of the seeds in our pumpkins. It was lots of messy fun! The best part was toasting the pumpkin seeds and eating them! We took a vote to decide how to carve the faces on our pumpkins- they turned out great!
